De Farine & d'eau Fraîche
07.17.2012
I just got back from my latest trip to Montreal, where I had the best time. Fresh maple syrup tasting, a day at the water park, and fabulous vintage shopping were just a few of the activities I enjoyed in the perfect summer weather. Most of all, I was beyond excited to discover a secret little gem of a street filled with vintage treasures. One of which I just could not pass up... but more on that later. While we were shopping I built up quite an appetite and thankfully we stumbled upon this sweet little restaurant that I just had to share, De Farine et d'eau Fraîche. Everything was so fresh and delicious... the salads, the brownies, and salted caramel were perfection.

Those miniature cakes are adorable! I also love the chalkboard titles on the first pictures. Was chalkboard paint painted onto the glass? I've seen similar displays on wood, but never on glass. Very interesting!
Yes! please post more about your trip. I hear such wonderful things about that city and am seriously considering a little getaway there..
That just made my sweet tooth verrrry hungry!
