Fresh Summer Face

Since I did a round up of some of my favorite scents last week, I thought I'd follow it up with a few of my favorite beauty products for summer. Clearly you can tell that corals and peaches are always my go-to colors.

Clé de Peau, Beauté Concealer: This is one of the pricier items on the list... but it works miracles and it's totally worth the investment. I usually get several years worth of every stick. This concealer can go all over, under eyes, to cover blemishes, and even sunspots. It's super creamy, which I love, and lasts all day.

Shiseido, Dual Balancing Foundation: This foundation is killer. I've yet to find another foundation that feels to light and gives such a dewy fresh glow. If you look at the bottle closely you can see little iridescent flakes of glitter that help keep the skin looking radiant and fresh. I usually apply this with a brush to get an even distribution.

Stila, Convertible Color: Blush is one of my daily staples, I always like to look like I have just a little bit of cheek color. Stila makes a lovely creamy blush, which is perfect for liquid makeup, that can also be used as lip color. I've been using this little gem for years. And they have such a lovely array of coral colors, Peony and Petunia are two of my faves.

Urban Decay, Naked 2: I've never been much of a shadow girl, especially since I have bangs and it's hard to see my eyes, but a friend recently blogged about this shadow set and I decided to give it a try. I went for the Naked 2 because there seemed to be more lighter colors which I prefer. In general it's a one stop shadow shop and makes it super easy to create any look.

L'Oreal, Voluminous Million Lashes: I'm a totally mascara girl. If there is one thing I NEED to put on before leaving the house it would have to be a full set of lashes. Lately I've been using this new product which has been working pretty well. There are no clumps or flaking, just long luscious lashes, which I love. Plus the gold wand did help to sell it for sure. What can I say I'm a suck for good design.

Revlon, Colorstay Pencil: This drugstore find is magic. It lasts all day, it's super easy to apply, very gentle and is beyond easy to stay sharp. There isn't much else to say than to just try it, I promise you'll be addicted. Plus, for under $6 it's hard to go wrong.

Anastasia, Brow Pencil: This handy little pencil has a brow pencil on once side and a brush on the other. It's a perfect little tool to fill in those little bare patches of brow. It's easy to use and stays in place all day.

MAC Lipstick, Vegas Volt: I'm obsessed with this perfect shade of coral. Vegas Volt is lovely balance of pink and orange that really compliments the skin. This is defiantly my go-to summer shade.

Nars Lipstick, Niagra: This summer shade is another one of my coral faves. It's perfect for day or night.

Chanel Glossimer, Coral Love: A little gloss-and-go is perfect for those summer beach days to add just enough color to the lip without going over the top. Plus the hint of sparkle is always fun.

Kiehl's, Lip Balm #1: I got this little magic balm a few years ago in a gift bag and I'm still loyal to it. I use it daily to keep my lips moist and fresh. I even sometimes use it over my lipstick to keep the color looking glossy. I never leave home without it.

Chanel, Le Vernis: Chanel polish is my thing. I get a new bottle every season... needless to say I'm obsessed. I especially love the new spring/summer colors that fit perfectly within my coral collection. Lately, I've been rotating between Distraction and June, both summer shades of love.

Sephora by OPI, Gold Jewelry Top Coat: This gold glitter top coat has a nice variation of gillter sizes. I like to mix it up once in a while and make one nail extra sparkly and fun.
