You may remember that our home was featured in Rue (issue 5) a few months ago. And while most of the rooms were published, a few bits were left out, you can see those here. There was one corner however, that was never photographed because it was just never quite complete. I've been on the hunt for the last 2 years trying to find the perfect, white lacquered vintage mid century modern credenza that was 48"wide, and not too deep... I know tall order. But as of this past weekend the hunt is officially over! Saturday morning I decided to run over to an estate sale in Bel Air, and good thing I did because I found this little gem. I am so happy to have found the perfect entry piece to house all our mail, keys, and other items I prefer to keep out of sight. It's a completely refinished white lacquered mid century credenza, the exact size and shape I wanted with concealed drawers and shelving, I almost died. But wait... whoever refinished this piece decided to add the most insane ethnic silver pulls I've ever seen. Above the dresser is a wedding gift from my parents, a Peter Max lithograph entitles Zero in Love it all works so perfectly together. This corner is absolutely perfect now!
