Boucherouite

There's just something about Moroccan textiles and furniture that always seem to speak to me... perhaps it's because my family is Moroccan and it's just in my blood. Whatever it is, if it's made in Morocco, chances are I love it. These amazing vintage hand-made textile rugs, called boucherouites, are no exception. I stumbled upon them on Etsy while helping a friend decide what to put up on a dining room wall. I can't get over the unbelievable colors and textures. These rugs are almost too pretty to walk on, that's why I thought they'd be a perfect alternative to a typical piece of art on the wall.
